London Power's Power Supply for Preamps (PSU-PRE)

Hey, Kevin et al.

I'm building an active DI box for bass.
Basically a pre-amp using 2 12AU7 valves for three gain stages one cathode follower.

I'm aiming for a 250 vdc plate voltage.

Is the PSU-PRE suitable for this? The supplied plate voltage seems high.
Would it require dropping resistors? Maybe a rethink around my plate and cathode resistors?

I could probably design a PSU for this, but your PSU-PRE looks more compact than what I could do. Not even sure I could get the parts here for that price..
