I'm proud to say I now have empirical evidence for the ability of fiberglass to wear down tools. Wondered why it was taking forever to drill through the circuit card... Gonna have to pick up a better bit. Right now I'm thinking either a TiN (https://www.mcmaster.com/2416A15) or diamond-coated (https://www.mcmaster.com/3162A15) bit. Diamond-coated is 7x the price, though should last close to 20x longer from what I hear. I have several amps worth of projects piled up, so thinking diamond-coated will probably end up being cheaper in the end given the hundreds of eyelet holes I need drilled.
In other news, almost done with the PSU card. Added the balance resistors that I left out of the first picture, soldered in the parts in the picture a few posts back, installed eyelets for the bias supply and heater supply, and installed the bridge rectifier for the bias supply. Need to nail down a detail with the bias supply, possibly install a second eyelet, then install the remainder of the parts for that. Also trying to work out wire routing. I could route one or two beneath fuses, which would be awfully convenient, but that seems like it might be ill advised.

Definitely thinking that the next layout I do will be more spacious to account for easily working with wires 'n stuff.
Also, found out that I can get access to two IPC standards as a student, and that the UL should have a means of viewing standards for free. Which is nice, since the standards bodies all seem to assume you have commercial funds to toss around and buy their documents.
