Toroidal PT and OT Suppliers

When it comes to toroidal tube output transformers what type of designs benefit from them? I've only every built one amp with toroidal output and liked how it sounded. The sound was very full and consistent with the power scaling settings, but I haven't every played the same amp side by side with a toroidal and EI transformer to really hear the difference.

I know London Power's amps have been using them for a long time. I'd be interested in hearing how and why you made the switch to them. Thanks!!
