Hey

If you turn the guitar vol down and everything is quiet then everything is working properly Smile

You gotta think of the pickup like a bad microphone. On a cheapo guitar I had the pickups were a little loose and I could rock them a bit and hear the sound through the amp. I think there was an old video of a famous player shouting into his guitar and it came out the speaker - haha
